What is desktop?

The desktop is the computer display area where the most of the important icons are located eg. My computer, Recyclebin, My document etc.

What is taskbar?

The taskbar is the long horizontal bar at the buttom of screen (desktop). It is the home of the active applications. The applications that are currently active are shown at the taskbar.

What is clipboard?

A clipboard is a temporary storage location for files, pictures, documents etc. Where from that can be inserted into another file or document as per requirement.

What is icon?

An icon is a graphic image, a small picture or object that represents a application, file, web page etc.

What is Recycle Bin ?

   Recycle bin is a temporary storage place for deleted files. In another words it is a holding place for files that are not required in future.

What is dialog box?

A rectangular box that appears when a command is selected, and is used to supply the information needed to execute the command.

A dialog box is a secondary windows that allows user to perform a command, ask users a question, or provides users with information or progress feedback.

What is note pad?

Note pad is a text editor software. It is extensively used by the programmers for writing programs in the text format before converting in executable file or testing them.

What is folder and sub folder?

A foler is something like a drawer that can hold files and other folders. And the folder or a directory that contain small folders are called sub folders.

4. It provides users a suitable environment to create program.

RAM:- (Random Access Memory) is a volatile memory. It lose its content when electricity goes off or you shut down the computer.

Bit is the smallest unit of memory of the computer.

What is hardware?

Hardware is the part of a computer which we can touch or feel. For example:- Monitor, keyboard, mouse etc.

What is CPU?

The CPU is the brain of computer which accepts data and instructions from input device (Keyboard/Mouse). It processes them and gives the result to the output device (Monitor/Printer)

Click: START
Click: RUN
Type: REGEDIT
PRESS ENTER
Locate: HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Microsoft > Windows > CurrentVersion > Internet Settings > Zones >
Youll see a number of folders numbered: 0 1 2 3 etc
Above these you might see another folder there, before that zero folder, with a box type character - delete that .
Now close and Restart Your Pc everything should be fine.
If not, try uninstalling Messenger and then doing the above then reinstalling

How to Rename Recycle bin at win xp

I have changed the name of recycle bin and it works properly but Remember
you can do this at your own risk. This Blog's Author will not be liable if any damage occurs. It is highly recommended that you should backup your registry.

1. Click Start > Run
2. Type regedit
3. Press Ctrl+F to open search box and type Recycle Bin and search
4. Change what ever you found (Value/Data/Key) with Recycle Bin to Desired Name
5. Press F3 to continue searching for 'Recycle Bin'
6. Repeat step 4 until you have finished with searching and changed all values to its new name.
7. Close regedit and refresh desktop, You will find the Recycle Bin is Renamed.

Create a folder without any name

We can create a new folder without any name by following simple steps which are given below
 Create a new folder then right click and select rename
 When the new folder will be highlight then press these keys
Alt + 0160 or Alt + 0255
Now you will find a new folder without any name.
